Puneeth Kerehalli, a Hindutva extremist leader and known for cow vigilantism, has been arrested for the murder of Idrees Pasha, a cattle transporter in Karnataka. There are questions being raised as to how the police, whose station is located just a few meters away from the site of the incident, could have missed such a significant attack on that fateful night.
