Earlier, Tamil Nadu Police took into custody several individuals directly associated with the main accused Sabith in the Kerala kidney racket. During interrogation, another accused, Nasar confessed to being involved in organ trafficking and disclosed that he had facilitated twenty people to undergo kidney transplants in Iran in exchange for money.
