India eye medals in shooting, boxing and athletics on Asian Games Day 11

India will compete across several sports on Day 11 of the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya on Tuesday, with medal events scheduled in shooting, boxing and athletics.
The day will begin with Kishore Kumar Anbarasu in the men’s shortboard surfing quarterfinal. Archery will follow, with Dhiraj Bommadevara and Neeraj Chauhan competing in the men’s recurve individual elimination rounds, while Kirti and Kumkum Anil Mohod will feature in the women’s recurve event.
Shooting will provide two team medal events, with India competing in the men’s and women’s trap team finals. The individual trap finals are also scheduled later in the day. Ahvar Rizvi, Kynan Chenai and Shapath Bharadwaj will compete in the men’s event, while Manisha Keer, Aashima Ahlawat and Neeru will represent India in the women’s event.
India will also compete in squash, tennis, cycling track, canoe slalom and sailing during the morning session.
Boxing will feature three Indian semifinalists. Parveen will face China’s Li Shu in the women’s 65kg semifinal, Ankush will meet Uzbekistan’s Fazliddin Erkinboev in the men’s 80kg semifinal, and Narender will take on Kazakhstan’s Aibek Oralbay in the men’s over-90kg semifinal.
Athletics will dominate the afternoon, with Indian athletes competing in the men’s pole vault, women’s high jump, women’s hammer throw, women’s and men’s 800m, and men’s 5000m finals. India will also feature in the mixed 4x100m, women’s 4x400m and men’s 4x400m relay finals.
The men’s pole vault final begins at 2.50 pm IST, followed by the women’s high jump at 3.35 pm and women’s hammer throw at 4.05 pm. The men’s 800m and 5000m finals are scheduled for 4.35 pm and 4.45 pm, respectively.
India’s relay finals are scheduled for 5.18 pm, 5.35 pm, and 5.47 pm.
