The Indian women's national football team will travel to Kenya to compete in the FIFA Series 2026, with their opening match scheduled against the hosts on April 11.

The tournament will see four teams in the Kenya leg, including India, Kenya, Australia, and Malawi.

On the opening day, Australia will take on Malawi, while India will face Kenya. The losing teams from both matches will play each other on April 15, followed by a fixture between the two winners.

All matches in this group will be held at the Nyayo National Stadium.

The FIFA Series is designed to promote football development by giving teams exposure to opponents from different regions. The women’s competition will feature 16 teams overall, with matches hosted across Brazil, the Ivory Coast, Kenya, and Thailand.

India heads into the tournament after a difficult outing at the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup in Australia, where they suffered defeats against Vietnam, Japan, and Chinese Taipei. The team is currently ranked 67th in the FIFA world rankings.

The fixtures in Kenya are as follows: Australia vs Malawi and Kenya vs India on April 11, followed by matches between the losing teams and the winning teams on April 15.
