Sheikh Mohammed urges UAE residents to raise flag above every home and building
text_fieldsSheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, has called on citizens and residents to raise the UAE flag across homes and buildings following recent missile and drone attacks targeting the country.
In a message posted on social media, Sheikh Mohammed said the flag reflects national strength and pride. He urged people across the UAE to display it as a sign of unity and loyalty.
He said the situation had strengthened solidarity across the country, with citizens and residents standing together under one national identity. He also expressed pride in the country’s leadership, armed forces, economy and workforce.
Sheikh Mohammed said the UAE had faced the crisis together and emerged with stronger cohesion and commitment.
Authorities said the country’s air defence systems have intercepted 537 ballistic missiles, 26 cruise missiles and 2,256 drones since Iran began daily attacks on February 28.
