During his visit, he observed daily operations in various departments and reviewed protocols assisting travellers. He also inspected facilities for departing and arriving passengers, receiving reassurances from airport authorities about the quality of these services.

The airport saw a significant rise in travellers, with 23 million passengers in the first quarter of 2024, marking an 8.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
