Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inspected the progress at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport (DXB). During his visit, he observed daily operations in various departments and reviewed protocols assisting travellers. He also inspected facilities for departing and arriving passengers, receiving reassurances from airport authorities about the quality of these services.

The airport saw a significant rise in travellers, with 23 million passengers in the first quarter of 2024, marking an 8.4% increase compared to the same period last year.

Sheikh Mohammed expressed appreciation for Terminal 3's development.

He said, “Dubai International Airport is a cultural interface that reflects our aspirations for the future. We are constantly working to improve the experience of travellers through the airport and provide the highest levels of excellence in terms of infrastructure, services and advanced technologies to ensure the comfort and safety of travellers."

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed highlighted DXB's exceptional performance and record growth in international passengers, noting its world-class service and quality in the aviation and travel sector.

Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Lieutenant General Talal Humaid Belhoul, Director General of the State Security Department in Dubai; Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai; and other senior officials.
