Fatal stabbing in Ajman: Man allegedly kills woman, sets shop ablaze

Ajman Police swiftly responded to a distress call reporting a fatal stabbing and subsequent fire at a commercial establishment in the emirate's industrial area.
The suspect, identified as MS, was promptly arrested following the incident.
According to Lt Col Saeed Al Madhani, Deputy Director of the Operations Department at Ajman Police, preliminary investigations revealed that MS allegedly stabbed an Asian woman multiple times, resulting in her demise. Additionally, three individuals working at the shop were also injured in the attack before the suspect set the premises ablaze.
Subsequent inquiries disclosed that the suspect had been involved in an affair with the victim. Allegedly, a heated argument ensued between them, leading to the fatal altercation. Authorities have confirmed that the suspect is currently in custody and will face legal proceedings once the prosecution concludes its investigations. Firefighters swiftly extinguished the blaze, preventing further damage to the property.
