Dubai Safari Park will welcome visitors back from October 12 for its eighth season, beginning with a seven-day programme of family activities timed to coincide with the school mid-term break.

The park’s first ‘Wildest Opening Week’ will run from October 12 to 18, offering interactive experiences for children and adults, including creative, artistic and photography activities, as well as personalised keepsakes.

A central attraction will be the ‘Little Explorers’ Base Camp’, where children can take part in safari-themed face painting, clay modelling, arts and crafts, lawn games and activities on safari-themed inflatables.

Season 8 will operate under the theme ‘Live More Wild Life’, encouraging visitors to connect with wildlife and nature through entertainment and educational activities.

The park said its programme reflects three main priorities: education, entertainment and animal welfare. The experiences are also intended to raise awareness of wildlife conservation.

Beyond the opening week, visitors will be able to explore six themed zones inspired by different natural habitats.

The Arabian Desert Safari will be included with all park tickets. Visitors can also upgrade to the Safari Bundle, which includes the Explorer Safari Tour.

The safari experiences allow guests to see lions, giraffes, rhinos and other animals in large environments designed to resemble their natural habitats.

Premium options include ‘King of Safari’, ‘Behind the Scenes’, ‘Dine in the Wild’ and ‘Jungle Capture’. These offer private tours, access to selected areas and opportunities to dine near animals.

The live program includes ‘Birds Kingdom’, ‘Echoes of the Wild’ and ‘Birds of Prey’, which provide information about animal behaviour and the park’s wildlife protection work.

Dubai Safari Park covers 119 hectares and is home to more than 3,000 animals representing 300 species.

The attraction also supports international research and breeding programs and takes part in animal rescue missions as part of its animal welfare and conservation work.

Its facilities and visitor services have also established it as one of Dubai’s main family destinations and tourist attractions.
