Q Mobility, launched by Abu Dhabi-based investment holding company ADQ, has officially taken charge of managing two key transport systems in the emirate: the Abu Dhabi Toll Gate System (Darb) and the Abu Dhabi Parking System (Mawaqif). This move falls under ADQ's expanding transportation and logistics portfolio, which includes notable names like Abu Dhabi Airports, Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Etihad Airways, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and Etihad Rail.

Q Mobility will operate under the supervision of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by the Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), to deliver smart and sustainable transport solutions.

By managing the toll and parking systems, the company aims to streamline transport services across the emirate while integrating digital technologies into its operations.

The Darb system, established in 2021, oversees the management of eight toll gates distributed across the main bridges leading to and from Abu Dhabi city, enhancing traffic flow and road safety. Mawaqif, launched in 2009, has provided drivers with organized public parking solutions, also relying on advanced digital technology.

This transition strengthens ADQ’s portfolio and reinforces its commitment to improving transportation and infrastructure across Abu Dhabi.
