Riyadh: Saudi Arabia launched its joint training exercise of Falcon Eye 3, in which the Royal Saudi Air Force and the Hellenic Air Force of Greece are participating.

The exercise was launched from the Souda Air Force Base in Crete, Arab News reported citing Saudi Press Agency.

The exercise first conducted a ground study, organising and unifying Saudi and Greek air forces' tactics. Then joined, training flights were conducted in the Mediterranean Sea skies.

Falcon Eye 3 is one among multiple bilateral air exercises between the countries, and its objective is to exchange military experiences.

Commander of Royal Saudi Air Force, Col. Khalifa Al-Enezi, said that the exercise is concentrating on implementing many operations such as offensive, defensive, counterair and air support missions. Further, training in state-of-the-art electronic warfare environments also will be given importance. The said environments have serious roles in the war in the air, the Al-Enezi said.
