Doha will host the Qatar Football Festival 2026 from March 26 to 31. The event will feature six international matches, including the men’s Finalissima between Spain and Argentina, as teams prepare for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The Local Organising Committee for Football Events said the festival will bring together national teams from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Serbia in a series of fixtures designed to test squad readiness and performance levels ahead of the tournament in North America.

The centrepiece of the programme is the Finalissima 2026, scheduled for March 27 at Lusail Stadium, where European champions Spain will face South American champions Argentina. The match reunites the holders of two major continental titles at a venue that staged the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 final.

International matches are schedules as below:

• 26 March: Egypt v Saudi Arabia – Ahmad bin Ali Stadium

• 26 March: Qatar v Serbia – Jassim bin Hamad Stadium

• 30 March: Egypt v Spain – Lusail Stadium

• 30 March: Saudi Arabia v Serbia – Jassim bin Hamad Stadium

• 31 March: Qatar v Argentina – Lusail Stadium

The organisers said exclusive travel packages for international fans will be available from February 1, 2026, in partnership with Visit Qatar and Qatar Airways. Match tickets will go on sale on February 25 through the roadtoqatar.qa platform.

H.E. Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairman of the LOC for Football Events, said Qatar is preparing to welcome teams and supporters from around the world as it hosts elite international players in the build-up to the World Cup. He said the festival reflects Qatar’s ongoing role in staging major football events.

Lusail Stadium, which will host three matches during the festival, remains one of the country’s flagship venues. It previously hosted key matches during the World Cup and the final of the AFC Asian Cup, where Qatar claimed the title. Organisers said the stadium continues to be a focal point for major international football occasions.
