The nomination process for the 'She Q Excellence' Award 2023 commenced on Thursday, July 20, with an overwhelming response from the public. Nominations poured in until July 30, showcasing a remarkable display of talent and dedication from all corners of the community.
A distinguished panel of experts undertook the arduous task of scrutinising the applications and evaluating the merits and achievements of each nominee. After a thorough process, the shortlist of exceptional individuals in each category was announced, highlighting the incredible diversity of talents present in Qatar.
Following the shortlisting, the power was then in the hands of the public. Starting from August 20, the community was invited to cast their votes online to select the winners from among the finalists. Exclusive honours for prestigious Qatari women
This year, the iconic event has expanded to feature an impressive array of 11 categories, celebrating excellence and achievement among women in Qatar.
Two of these categories - the She Q Empress Lifetime Achievement Award and the She Q Princess Youth Icon Award - stand out as the most prestigious honours of the event. These exclusive awards are reserved for exceptional Qatari women who have made outstanding contributions to their respective fields and the broader society. Unlike the other 11 categories, which involve a public nomination and voting process, the recipients of these two prestigious awards are handpicked by the esteemed editorial panel of Gulf Madhyamam newspaper.
Nominations must include the category and a detailed description of the individual's achievements. This exciting nomination phase aims to discover exceptional talents across various fields and backgrounds in Qatar.
As the nomination process begins, the anticipation for the 'Gulf Madhyamam - She Q Excellence' award ceremony grows. This grand event will celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of women in Qatar, fostering a spirit of inspiration and unity within the expatriate community.
