Thiruvananthapuram: CPI National Executive member K Prakash Babu has written in his party mouthpiece 'Janayugam' that ADGP(Law&Order) M R Ajith Kumar should be removed from his responsibilities unless he discloses why he met RSS leaders.

Prakash Babu termed the alleged meeting that M R Ajith Kumar had with RSS leaders a ‘blemish’ on Kerala’s administration system and leftist values.

Ajith Kumar found himself in a controversy after he was accused of having met RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale and former BJP General Secretary and RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav.

Prakash Babu’s response follows CPI’s repeated demand for the removal of the ADGP.

However, CPIM refused to take any action against Ajith Kumar until the investigation report found any wrongdoing on the part of him.

Prakash Babu sought to transfer officials, who do not realize the fact that public opinion is the driving force behind the government, to posts requiring lesser interaction with the public.

The CPI leader accused ADGP(Law&Order) of dragging the government into the crisis.

Further he wrote that everyone wanted to know why the official had met with the RSS leader when it was not dealing with any communal strife, adding that the official had moral responsibility to explain the reasons for the meeting.
