Plus-2, Vocational Higher Secondary Results Announced

Thiruvananthapuram: The results of the 2nd (Final) year Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) have been announced. Education Minister Prof C Raveendranath made the announcement at the PR Chamber of the Secretariat at 11 am on Thursday.

The overall pass percentage in Plus-2 is 83.75 %. Last year the pass percentage was 83.37. The highest percentage of pass is in Kannur District with 86.75%, and the lowest Pathanamthitta district with 77.1%. 14,735 candidates secured A+ in all subjects, and 180 students scored hundred per cent marks. The maximum number of A+ candidates of 1935, are from Malappuram district. 79 schools secured hundred per cent pass.

The date set for improvement, Save A Year (SAY) is 16 May. Examinations will be held between 5 and 12 June. Practical exams dates are 28,29 May. Revaluation requests and application for SAY can be filed until 15 May.

Plus-One results will be announced by the end of May.

In VHSE, 29,174 students appeared for exam and 90.2 % secured trade certificate by clearing Part I and Part II. 80.32 % candidates won eligibility for higher studies by passing all the three parts. 29 students secured Full A+. The highest pass percentage is in Trichur District, and the lowest is Pathanamthitta.
