Don’t know Jisha’s mother: Thankachan

Thiruvananthapuram: UDF convenor P.P Thankachan Thursday said he did not know Rajeshwari, the mother of law student Jisha, who was brutally murdered in Perumbavoor.

“The allegations against me are baseless,” Thankachan told reporters.

“Jisha’s mother had not worked as a servant in my house. She had never approached me seeking any sort of help. I met her at the hospital after Jisha was killed. Also, I went to the hospital to hand over KPCC’s financial assistance,” the Congress leader said.

“It is improper to spread such fabricated stories. This is quite apolitical,” he said.
