Kottayam: Hinting that Kerala Congress (M) is firms on its demand for more seats in the Assembly polls, K M Mani Monday has said the seat-sharing talks will continue.

“Nothing can say now. The seat-sharing talks will continue,” Mani told reporters.

In 2011, the Kerala Congress (M) had contested in 15 seats. This time the party has asked for one more seats.

On Saturday KPCC president V.M Sudheeran had said the talks with UDF partners on seat sharing were at the final stage, adding there was need to arrive at a consensus with each of the partners.

The Congress state leadership will be leaving for Delhi on March 28 to get clearance for the candidates list.
