Thiruvananthapuram: The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) Tuesday told the Vigilance court that there was no need for hearing on the probe report submitted by SP R.Sukesan in the bar bribery case.
While considering a plea filed by Opposition leader V.S Achuthanandan, Vigilance Additional DGP Vakkom Sashi said in the court there was no need for hearing on the VACB report vindicating former Finance Minister K.M Mani in the bar bribery case.
Achuthanandan’s counsel, however, opposed the Vigilance arguments.
Vigilance SP SP R.Sukesan in his report had given clean chit to Mani in the bar bribery case.
