BJP calls for hartal in Kerala on Jan 27

Thiruvananthapuram: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called a dawn-to-dusk hartal in the State on Tuesday seeking the resignation of Finance Minister K.M Mani in the wake of the bar bribery charges against him.

BJP State committee which met today took the decision in this regard.

Talking to reporters, BJP state president V Muralidharan also demanded that a CBI probe be ordered into the bar bribery case.

“The Cabinet should be dissolved and an interim election should be conducted in the wake of the bribery charges,” he said.
