Puducherry: The ruling All India N. R. Congress (AINRC) is leading the race, with Chief Minister N. Rangasamy securing a comfortable victory in Thattanchavady. Counting of votes is underway, with the AINRC winning 9 seats as of 2:30 pm.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has won Mannadipet and Neravy–T.R. Pattinam, while Nellithope has shifted from the BJP to the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. P.R.N. Thirumurugan, Minister for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, has retained the Karaikal North constituency for a fourth consecutive term.
