Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress head, Mamata Banerjee, announced that she will lead a religious harmony rally across the state capital on the day of Ram Temple consecration, Mint reported.

She said that her rally would cover mosques, temples, churches and gurudwaras.

According to her, she will visit the Kali Mandir first. The rally will start from Hazra and go to Park Circus Maidan. There will be a meeting at the Maidan, and all are welcome to the rally.

"I will do a rally on January 22. It will begin from Kali Mandir, where only I will visit to offer prayers to Maa Kaali. Following that, we will hold an interfaith rally from Hazra to Park Circus Maidan and hold a meeting there. We will cover mosques, temples, churches, and gurdwaras along the way. Everybody is welcome to join the rally. People of all faiths will be there at the rally." Mint quoted the leader.

Further, TMC party leaders will hold rallies on every block in every district in the state at 3 pm.

Expressing her religious views, she said, "Many people have been asking me about various temples, but I have nothing to say. I have always said Dhorma Jaar Jaar, Utsob Shobaar (Religion is personal, festival is universal). "Mint quoted her.
