New Delhi: In the wake of the demolition-drive in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday holds a meeting of his lawmakers.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs will huddle at Kejriwal's residence in Civil Lines.

The meeting will discuss how to tackle anti-encroachment drive launched by the BJP-controlled MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) , according to IANS.

The meeting was initially planned on May 14 but cancelled after the building fire in Mundka claiming 27 lives.

An AAP leader was quoted as asking everybody to share their ideas to counter BJP.

"In the name of encroachment they are demolishing people's homes. AAP is standing with the common people of Delhi," the leader said.

Earlier, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia urged in a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to stop the anti-encroachment drive.

AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan was arrested during a demolition drive. He was later granted bail by the Saket Court, according to IANS.
