KCR calls for Assam CM Himanta Biswa's sacking
text_fieldsNalgonda (Telangana): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) demanded the sacking of Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma for his controversial remarks on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Asian News International reported.
KCR, while speaking in public even on Saturday, asked Prime Minister Modi that is what is what Assam CM showed is the 'sanskar' or Hindu ritual by asking an MP about the identity of his father. KCR said that his head hangs in shame, and his eyes are full of tears hearing Assam CM's remarks. His behaviour is not good for the country, he said. How could a CM behave like that, he wondered, while adding that there is a limit in holding on to patience.
When Rahul Gandhi demanded proof for India's surgical attacks into Pakistan and the airstrikes in 2019, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma raised the puny remark that BJP had never sought proof about whether Rahul is the son of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and added that Rahul has no right to question Indian Army.
In a public meeting, Sarma said, "look at the mentality of these people." He said that General Bipin Rawat was India's pride, and he led the Army during the surgical strikes into Pakistan. He said that if the army said they did a surgical strike, it was nothing but true. He asked Rahul whether he trusted general Rawat. Do not disrespect soldiers who die for the country, he had said.
