New Delhi: In the past 24 hours, India has seen 27,176 new cases of Covid-19 and 284 deaths. Kerala continues to be the most affected state with 15,876 infections. However, the number of active cases has been reduced to 3.51 lakh. More than 80 days in a row, less than 50,000 daily cases were reported in the country.

West Bengal reported 703 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday. The death toll has risen to 18,599, with 12 new fatalities. North 24 Parganas reported 138 new cases of Covid-19 and five deaths. Kolkata, meanwhile, has seen 127 cases and three deaths in the last 24 hours. There were 35,998 samples tested in a single day and the positivity rate was at 1.95 per cent.

Nagaland has seen an increase in the number of people recovering from Covid-19 infection for the sixth day in a row. On Tuesday, there were 43 cases of recovery and 37 new Covid-19 cases in the state. Nagaland now has a total of 30,694 cases of Covid-19. cases. Recovery rate among Covid-19 patients was 92.97 per cent.
