India a 'Hindu Rashtra': BJP MP Jagdish Shettar claims

Hubbali/Karnataka: BJP MP from Karnataka and former chief minister of the state Jagdish Shettar claimed on Friday that India is a Hindu nation. He also claimed that Indians' way of life is similar to the Hindu religion and culture.

Though it is not mentioned in the Constitution, the entire nation has adopted the Hindu culture. He added that India is the only ‘Hindu Rashtra’ in the whole world.
