Mumbai: For alleged objectionable comment on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an FIR has been charged against Maharashtra Congress leader Sheikh Hussain in Nagpur, NDTV reported.

The former Nagpur Congress president made the alleged comments during a protest on Monday against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi being questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Congress has been protesting throughout the length of the country since the start of this week against Rahul Gandhi being summoned by the central probe agency in a case of money laundering, lined to the Congress mouthpiece National Herald.

The case against him was registered the previous night, charging him guilty with obscene acts and an intentional insult to provoke breaching of the peace. The case was based on a complaint by BJP.
