The Cockroach Janta Party, whose founder Abhijeet Dipke describes as a youth pressure group, announced on Wednesday the appointment of three prominent social media personalities as its spokespersons.

The announcement came shortly after Dipke called for a sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Saturday, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The proposed demonstration also received support from activist Sonam Wangchuk a day earlier.

As the group moves towards a more formal organisational structure after gaining attention through a satirical social media post last month, investigative journalist Saurav Das has been named its chief spokesperson, Indian Express reported.

The organisation also announced that political researcher, author and filmmaker Vijeta Dahiya and an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and the global management consulting firm McKinsey, Ashutosh Ranka would serve as spokespersons alongside Das.

According to the group's statement, Das brings extensive experience in journalism, having spent several years investigating and reporting on legal, judicial and social issues. The statement also noted that he was among those who helped lead anti-pollution protests at India Gate in November 2025.

The group said Dahiya joins the organisation with a background in political research and strategic analysis. It highlighted his work as a writer, content creator and filmmaker, as well as his authorship of two bestselling books and her academic background at Delhi Technological University.

Regarding Ranka, the organisation said he studied at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and the London School of Economics before working with McKinsey & Company in London, where he advised international organisations on operational and economic strategies.

The statement further said that after returning to India last year, Ranka became involved in several public campaigns in Jaipur related to environmental, educational and youth issues, including movements connected to Dol Ka Badh, the Amaira suicide case and the NEET paper leak controversy.
