The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 10 result 2022. Out of the 20,93,978 students who appeared for the exam, 19,76,668 students passed the secondary school examination.

About 64,908 students scored above 95%, and over 2.36 lakh (2,36,993) students secured above 90% marks. This year, girls outperformed boys by 1.41%. The pass percentage of girls is at 95.21% and boys are at 93.80%.

Trivandrum has recorded the highest pass percentage with 99.68%. Bengaluru (99.22%), Chennai (98.97%), Ajmer (98.14%), and Patna (97.65%) are next on the list. On the other hand, Guwahati has the least pass percentage at 82.23%.

Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said on Friday that the board will not declare merit lists for class 10 to avoid "unhealthy competition." The same practice was followed in 2020 and 2021 as well.

The board will not assign first, second, and third divisions to students in class 10 and 12 exam results. However, 0.1% of students who scored the highest marks in subjects will receive merit certificates.

To check the result, students can visit the official website cbseresults.nic.in and click on the link that reads "Secondary School Examination (Class X) Results 2022". Each student can access their result by entering their login credentials - roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID. Once the details are entered, CBSE 10th mark sheet 2022 will appear on the screen.

The board has prepared the CBSE 10th mark sheet by considering the weightage marks of term 1 and term 2.
