Actor Salman Khan gets arms licence following death threats

The Bollywood actor and his father got a death threat after Punjabi singer Sindhu Moose was killed on May 29.
The actor's father had found the unsigned letter on a bench where he usually sits after jogging in the morning.
The letter in Hindi said the actor and his father would meet the fate of Siddu Moosewala.
After Khan met Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar last month, the licence issuing authority had started the necessary investigation into threat against the actor.
The actor visited the police headquarters for physical verification before the licensing authority, a mandatory step in applying for a gun licence, India Today reported quoting sources.
Following death threats, the actor reportedly got an armoured and bulletproof Land Cruiser.
Lawrence Bishnoi reportedly issued death threat to the actor over the blackbuck poaching case in which the actor was an accused in 1998.
