20-year-old IIT student in Delhi dies by suicide in hostel: police

New Delhi: A student of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi was found hanging in his hostel room last night, NDTV reported.
The 20-year-old Ayush Ashna allegedly died by suicide at the campus, according to the police.
The student, who was from Uttar Pradesh, had taken final exams of B.Tech this year, police said.
No suicide note was found in his room and a probe has been initiated to determine the cause of death.
‘Ayush's family members have been informed and investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of his death’ police reportedly said.
Just a day ago a 17-year-old student from Uttar Pradesh, who was preparing for IIT JEE, died by suicide in Kota, Rajasthan.
The student, who was staying in Kota with a friend at an accommodation facility, died while the friend was away.
