American You Tuber Xiaoma took a different path in order to sample and taste Indian food—he learnt Telugu.
Xiaoma is now lapping up lavish admiration on social media with his stunning skills in Telugu language.
Traveling across New Jersey, Xiaoma dropped in at Indian restaurants wowing the staff speaking chaste Telugu, according to NDTV.
He ordered Hyderabadi food and interacted with people there in Telugu, intriguing many Indians in the US.
The video, shared on his channel Xiaomanyc, has already amassed over 580k views and 23k likes in a couple of days.
The caption of the video said that he had spoken Telugu in Indian restaurants in America, so shocking the bosses that they gave him free food and drinks.
The US YouTuber added that Telugu was a common language in New Jersey with increasing popularity.
Xiaoma continued to wow people in a couple of more Hyderabadi restaurants in the city, interacting with the owners in Telugu.
No doubt, initially most restaurateurs were taken back by the American speaking Telugu and they would immediately welcome him with a big smile showering praise and free food.
Xiaoma tried the tasty Irani chai followed by the most famous Hyderabadi Biryani.
He also sampled an onion chilli Uttapam and topped it with the sweet ras malai.
