On its 40th day of release, Shah Rukh Khan's movie "Jawan" earned Rs 0.60 crore at the box office, contributing to a total domestic collection of Rs 636.31 crore.

Notably, "Jawan" has amassed Rs 1138.64 crore globally to date.

The film exhibited a 10.39% Hindi occupancy on Monday.

Red Chillies Entertainment celebrated the movie's ongoing success with a poster of Shah Rukh Khan's character.

On its sixth Sunday, "Jawan" earned Rs 2.10 crore across all languages and witnessed a 15.64% Hindi occupancy. The movie, directed by Atlee and released on September 7, stars Nayanthara as the lead actress. Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist, while Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance.

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan made a surprise appearance during the screening of his iconic film "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai." The film celebrated its 25th anniversary on October 16, and in commemoration, the film's creators organised a special screening in Mumbai. During the event, Shah Rukh Khan spoke about the film's significance and its lasting impact, stating, "This film has stood the test of time, ageing nearly as well as Karan [Johar] has."

Shah Rukh Khan expressed his pride in launching a young Karan Johar with "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai," as he was more established in his career at the time, while Karan was a relatively unknown 23-24-year-old filmmaker. The film, released in 1998, starred Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Kajol in lead roles.

Shah Rukh Khan's next project, "Dunki," directed by Rajkumar Hirani and featuring Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu, is scheduled for a Christmas release.
