New York: Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu was seen at NYC's India Day Parade.

Images and videos capturing Samantha Ruth Prabhu's presence at New York's 41st India Day Parade have taken social media by storm. The renowned actress, currently on a work hiatus, journeyed to New York to celebrate India's Independence Day with the vibrant Indian diaspora. Taking a prominent role in the parade, Samantha also graced the occasion as the chief guest.

During her address, she said, "Jai Hind. It's truly an honour to be here today. You have made me realise how rich my culture and heritage is. Things I saw today will last for a lifetime. Thank you for supporting me throughout my career. Thank you, USA for supporting every single film of mine as your own."

Adding to the celebratory ambiance, Samantha treated her online followers to glimpses of her New York experiences through images shared on Sunday. She captioned the photos with, "Something in the New York air."

A few days earlier, the Family Man 2 star shared a captivating close-up selfie on Instagram.

In the snapshot, Samantha dons a baby pink chikankari kurta, prompting fans to shower her with affectionate comments.
