Nayanthara and Dhanush steer clear of each other at a wedding

The ongoing feud between South Indian superstars Nayanthara and Dhanush took center stage once again as the two conspicuously avoided each other at producer Aakash Baskaran's wedding.
A video shared by Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan's security team on Instagram captured their arrival at the event, where Nayanthara dazzled in a pink saree. Meanwhile, Dhanush, seated in the front row, remained at a noticeable distance, adding fuel to the already heated situation.
The controversy stems from a legal dispute over a Netflix documentary featuring Nayanthara titled Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale. Dhanush, who produced the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, accused Nayanthara of copyright infringement for including a three-second clip from the movie in the documentary trailer. His legal team demanded the content be removed within 24 hours, threatening a Rs 10 crore lawsuit if the demands were not met.
Nayanthara responded with an open letter on Instagram, accusing Dhanush of reaching "an all-time low."
She revealed that after two years of attempting to secure a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and approval from Dhanush for the use of material from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, she was ultimately forced to re-edit the documentary to exclude those elements.
In contrast, she thanked Shah Rukh Khan, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and other producers for granting her the necessary permissions for footage from their films without hesitation.
Dhanush’s lawyer issued a firm statement asserting his client’s copyright claim, warning of legal action if the alleged infringement persisted. Meanwhile, the public remains divided, with fans passionately debating who is in the right in this high-profile clash.
