Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas in ICU after injury

Malayalam Actor Tovino Thomas has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Renai Medicity in Kochi after reportedly suffering internal injuries on set.
The actor was shooting for his upcoming film Kala when the incident occurred. He was shifted to hospital after complaining of pain. Doctors have not yet released any official reports on his injury although they are keeping him under observation.
A Times of India report quotes a doctor as saying that he has internal haemorrhaging but is not critical.
Tovino has been candid about his dedication to fitness and his stringent training regime. He is well known for posting videos of his workout and stunts to his social media followers.
Kala is one of the few Malayalam films to begin shooting after lifting of lockdown restrictions. The film is directed by Rohit V.S and stars Lal, Divya Pillai and Sumesh Moor in prominent roles.
