"Laal Singh Chaddha" to be released on August 11

"Laal Singh Chaddha," Aamir Khan's much-anticipated movie, will be released on August 11. The film was supposed to be released on April 14, but the makers announced it would be delayed.

Aamir Khan's production house posted a statement on their Instagram account on Tuesday thanking the makers of the Prabhas film Adipurush for pushing their release date in order to accommodate Laal Singh Chaddha.

The statement by Aamir Khan Productions read, "This is to announce that our film, 'Laal Singh Chaddha', will not be releasing on 14th April as planned. This is because we are unable to complete the film in time. The film will now be releasing on 11 Aug 2022 in theatres worldwide. We would like to thank Mr Bhushan Kumar, T Series and Om Raut and the entire team of Adipurush from the bottom of our hearts."

According to the statement, Prabhas' movie Adipurush, which was scheduled to release on August 1, has been postponed

As the statement continued, "We would like to thank them for being so helpful and understanding, as well as for switching the release date of their much-anticipated film, Adipurush, which stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan, so that Laal Singh Chaddha will be released on 11 Aug 2022."

"Laal Singh Chaddha" is an adaptation of 'Forrest Gump' starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya also plays a key role in the movie.
