Beating Akshay Kumar's 135 crores deal with Amazon Prime, young Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan has surged ahead with a record-breaking 400 crore deal with OTT platform Netflix to release his next big-budget film 'Dhamaka', directed by Ram Madhvani.

'Dhamaka' is an official remake of the South Korean film 'Terror Live'. The film stars Aaryan in the lead role as a journalist Arjun Pathak who must cover a large-scale terrorist attack live. The filmmaking was completed in ten days inside a single hotel location. Dhamaka is one of the first mainstream Hindi films to complete shooting with such strict time and location limitations.
