Mumbai: Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has shared her opinion on the controversial film 'The Kerala Story', stating that those who feel the film is an attack on them are terrorists.

During an appearance on ABP TV, Kangana noted that the film has survived several attempts to ban it, with the High Court rejecting pleas on the basis that it does not harm anyone except the terrorist organisation ISIS.

Kangana Ranaut also commented on the issue, stating that anyone who does not consider ISIS a terrorist organization is a terrorist.

She specifically referred to those who feel personally attacked by the film, rather than ISIS itself, and asserted that such individuals are also terrorists. She said, "If you think the movie is attacking you, then you are a terrorist. It's as simple as that."

The film "The Kerala Story" has become embroiled in controversy over claims made in its trailer that 32,000 women from Kerala had disappeared and joined the terrorist group ISIS.

This statement has caused a heated political debate, with many leaders questioning the truth of the assertion. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has accused the film of spreading false propaganda.

In response to the backlash, the trailer was modified to indicate that the movie is based on the experiences of three women.

Despite this, the director, Rupesh Paul, has defended the original statement, saying that the number is arbitrary but based on factual information. The film features Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani, and Sonia Balani in starring roles.
