Gal Gadot, Alia Bhatt & Jamie Dornan showcases action-packed thrills in Heart of Stone trailer

Los Angeles: The highly-anticipated film 'Heart of Stone' featuring Gal Gadot, Alia Bhatt, and Jamie Dornan promises a thrilling display of power-packed performances and high-octane action.

Variety reports that Gal Gadot, known for her superhero roles, takes on the role of a super spy in the action-packed first trailer of the international espionage thriller.

Gadot, along with co-stars Jamie Dornan and Alia Bhatt, unveiled the film's trailer at Netflix's Tudum fan festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The footage showcases heart-stopping stunts, including Gadot's character Rachel Stone, an intelligence operative for a secretive global peacekeeping agency, performing a death-defying skydiving stunt.

Stone's unyielding demeanor and thrill-seeking habits are explained by her boss (played by Sophie Okonedo) who warns, "You know what you signed up for. No friends, no relationships. What we do is too important. When governments fail, the only thing left is the Charter."

Stone and Dornan's character Parker are among the agency's highly-trained agents who have no political affiliations or national allegiances and are described as "working together to keep peace in a turbulent world."

However, when hacker Keya Dhawan (played by Alia Bhatt in her first major Hollywood film) steals the agency's most valuable and dangerous weapon, a technological core that holds the power of the Charter, Stone embarks on a globe-trotting adventure to save the day and clear her name.

"Heart or no heart, I'm coming for you," Gadot delivers a warning to Bhatt's character through a cell phone.

Directed by Tom Harper from a screenplay by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, the intense trailer also features thrilling action sequences, including a motorcycle chase through the Alps and high-speed car pursuits in the streets of Lisbon.

Gadot is seen soaring through the air twice, first paragliding off a snowy embankment and later engaging in extreme skydiving.

"Chance of success just plummeted," warns a Charter agent played by Matthias Schweighofer as Stone performs a daring maneuver. "Only because you have no imagination," Stone retorts as she skillfully lands on her target.

Apart from showcasing her action star abilities, honed in films like 'Wonder Woman' and the upcoming 'Fast and Furious' installment, Gadot also served as a producer for 'Heart of Stone' under her Pilot Wave banner, alongside her producing partner and husband Jaron Varsano.

The film's producers include David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger from Skydance, as well as Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn from Mockingbird. Patty Whitcher, Tom Harper, and Greg Rucka serve as executive producers.

'Heart of Stone' will begin streaming on August 11, offering audiences a thrilling cinematic experience filled with suspense and excitement.
