Dhanush starrer "Raayan" unveils release date and first song details

The movie, directed by Dhanush himself, boasts a stellar cast and promises to deliver an enthralling cinematic experience.
Recently, the makers of "Raayan" took to their social media platforms to announce the release date of the film's first official song. They also shared an intriguing poster featuring Dhanush.
"It's time to raise D volume #RaayanFirstSingle ARRiving on 9th May. #Raayan in cinemas from June 2024," the makers wrote alongside the captivating poster.
In the poster, Dhanush is depicted seated amidst flames, with a statue of the demon king Ravana in the background. Surrounding him are numerous individuals with raised hands, creating a striking visual. Dhanush is seen sporting an all-black ensemble, adding to the intensity of the image.
Following the announcement, fans flooded the comments section with expressions of excitement. One fan exclaimed, "Vintage D is back. Black Dress+ Dhanush+ Dance," while another eagerly wrote, "Waiting mass Thalaivaaa."
Earlier reports suggested that "Raayan" would hit theaters in June, a detail that has now been officially confirmed by the makers, maintaining the anticipation for the action-packed thriller.
"Raayan" boasts a talented ensemble cast, including S J Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, Dushara Vijayan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, and Saravanan.
Additionally, rumors suggest that Nithya Menen will make a special appearance in the film, marking her second collaboration with Dhanush after their successful venture in 2022's "Thiruchitrambalam." Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, the film features music composed by the legendary AR Rahman.
