Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has announced Republic Day 2022 as the release date for his gangster flick 'Bacchan Pandey' that also stars KritiSanon and Jacqueline Fernandes in lead roles.
The actor took to Twitter to release the first look of his film. Shooting has begun in Jaisalmer. The actor also revealed that it was his tenth collaboration with SajidNadiadwala, who is producing the film. 'BacchanPandey' is directed by FarhadSamji.
The film was originally rumoured to be a remake of the Tamil film 'Veeram' starring Ajith, but underwent changes in script. Reports suggest that Akshay will be playing a gangster who wishes to become a movie star.
