BJP Spearheads NDA to Majority Mark in Assam

The ruling Mitrajot or the NDA, spearheaded by the BJP, is leading in 76 seats, making its way to the majority mark of 64 out of 126 assembly constituencies. The Congress' grand alliance (Mahajoth) is ahead in 41 seats, according to initial trends available from the counting of postal ballots in Assam.
