Reliance Jio has launched new international roaming (IR) packs specifically tailored for popular travel destinations, including Canada, Europe, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

These IR plans offer users various validity options, extending up to 30 days.

Additionally, Jio has announced that its IR packs for Europe and the Caribbean regions will include free in-flight benefits. Travelers can also benefit from a 50% reduction in pay-as-you-go rates across 32 international destinations.

In a recent press release, Reliance Jio provided details about its new IR packs. Customers traveling to the UAE, Canada, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia will enjoy unlimited incoming SMS and the ability to receive incoming calls, including Wi-Fi calls, from any country.

The packs also allow for outgoing calls to India and local calls within the destination country. Users will have access to high-speed data, which will be throttled to 64 kbps once the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limit is reached.

However, the company noted that outgoing local and international (ROW) calls and SMS sent over Wi-Fi will not be covered by these IR packs.

The IR packs for the UAE start at ₹898, providing 100 minutes each for outgoing and incoming calls, 1GB of high-speed data, 100 SMS, and a seven-day validity.

For travelers to Thailand, the packs start at ₹1,551, offering 100 minutes for outgoing and incoming calls, 6GB of data, and 50 SMS, with a 14-day validity.

In Canada, the packs begin at ₹1,691, including 100 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 5GB of data, and 50 SMS, also with a 14-day validity.

For Saudi Arabia, the starting pack is priced at ₹891, offering 100 minutes each for outgoing and incoming calls, 1GB of data, and 20 SMS over seven days.

The Europe pack, priced at ₹2,899, includes 100 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 5GB of data, and 100 SMS, with a 30-day validity, covering 32 countries.

Additionally, Jio offers special packs for the Caribbean, starting at ₹1,671, which includes 150 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls, 1GB of data, and 50 SMS with a 14-day validity. The most expensive pack for the Caribbean is ₹3,851, offering 200 minutes of calls, 4GB of data, and 100 SMS with a 30-day validity.

All packs include benefits such as incoming SMS and the ability to make outgoing calls to India, as well as local calls within the destination country.

According to Reliance Jio, standard pay-as-you-go rates will be applicable to calls made to ROW destinations from all the regions covered by these packs.
