New York: Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump drove a garbage truck in Greenbay, Wisconsin in what appears to be a response to President Joe Biden’s remarks about his supports.
Joe Biden reportedly called Trump’s supporters as ‘garbage’, leaving himself in trouble.
In response Trump, wearing an orange and yellow safety vest, said ‘This is in honour of Kamala and Joe Biden’.
Biden made the remark while condemning racist rant that a speaker made at Trump’s campaign rally.
Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe termed Puerto Rico a 'floating island of garbage' at the rally on Sunday.
Biden’s reaction to the rant however backfired with Trump taking on him.
Biden’s remarks came when he was speaking at a fundraising Zoom call with Voto Latino, an outfit that encourages young Latino Americans to register to vote.
‘The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporter's - his - his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable and it's un-American,’ Biden was quoted as saying.
As the US presidential polls are to take place on November 5, the battle between Trump and Kamala Harris has reached a feverish pitch.
As Trump is eyeing a second term in the office, Harris has emerged as a strong challenger with her ratings often surpassing Trump’s.
