Trump moots imposing travel ban on people from 41 countries!

Washington: The Donald Trump regime in the United States is mooting and issuing sweeping travel restrictions for citizens of around 41 countries to America as part of a new ban, Reuters reported.

The news agency said that it had the chance to peek at an internal memo regarding this.

A US official told Reuters that there could be changes on the list since it is yet to be approved by the administration, including US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Reuters reported that the memo listed the 41 countries into three separate groups.

The memo recommends full visa suspension to countries such as Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen.

The memo recommends partial visa suspension (tourist, student and some other visas affected) in Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, and South Sudan.

Finally, countries recommended for a partial suspension if they do not address deficiencies are Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Belarus, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Cambodia, Cameroon, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominica, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritania, Pakistan, Republic of the Congo, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Sao Tome and Principe, Sierra Leone, East Timor, Turkmenistan, Vanuatu.
