‘Tired of the pain’: US shooter seeks to ‘kill Trump now’ and ‘nuke India’

New York: The shooter, who opened fire on Wednesday on school children attending a church service in the US city of Minneapolis, had scribbled on his guns messages including ‘kill Trump now’, and ‘Nuke India’, reports say.

The shooter, identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, killed two children and injured 17 other people and was reportedly found dead at the parking lot.

Westman left behind a four-page handwritten letter addressed to his family and friends apologizing for the incident alongside warning them about its potential impact on their lives.

Alongside it is revealed that Westman, a biological male who identified as a transgender ‘woman’, had written on the magazines the messages ‘Kill Donald Trump", ‘Israel must fall’, and ‘Burn Israel’ alongside calling to ‘nuke India’.

The letter released on YouTube video begins with an apology to parents for exposing them to ‘this storm of chaos’. Westman suggests the family change their names and ‘move on.’

‘I don't expect forgiveness, and I don't expect any apology. I have to hold much weight. But to my family and those close to me, I do apologise for the effects my actions will have on your lives. Please know I care for all of you so much, and it pains me to bring this storm of chaos into your lives. This will affect so many more people than the ones that are immediately involved, Westman wrote.

Westman thanked parents for making Westman ‘good person’ with values such as empathy, self-sacrifice and good character but blames the world making the gunman ‘hate life’.

‘Please do not think you have failed as parents. I was corrupted by this world and have learned to hate what life is. Life is love, life is pain,’ the letter reportedly read.

‘I am tired of the pain this world gives out. Please move on and continue to give your love to brothers and sisters, and the rest of the world. They may not forgive you, but you need to move on from me. Forget my life and the pain I have brought,’ the letter further said.

To the friends Westman wrote that ‘Unfortunately, this world has too much pain to deal out that I can't cover up with the good sides of life’.

Responding to the shooting, President Donald Trump directed to fly the US flag at half-staff nationwide as a sign of mourning.

Wednesday’s deadly shooting was reportedly the 146th such incident in the country since January.
