Photo: The PLA Western Theater Command's Sina Weibo acount
On Friday, the Western Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) launched its social media campaign.
Global Times reported that PLA will be sending lucky winners a gift from the command - a stone from the Galwan Valley.
Taking advantage of its official accounts on Twitter and Sina Weibo, the PLA theater command announced that it would select 10 lucky netizens by random drawing on February 1st and send them a stone from the Galwan Valley.
The notice was posted together with a picture of Chinese soldiers patrolling the Galwan Valley and a rock face reading "Splendid landscape, no inch give in" in Chinese characters.
