The subway trains in China’s two biggest cities Beijing and Shanghai on Monday were reportedly packed with mask-wearing commuters.

Staying indoors for days even after the U-turn in policy, people in Beijing and Shanghai are returning to normal life with major traffic arteries in the two cities being jammed with slow-moving cars on Monday.
Reuters reported a 25-year-old Shanghai resident Lin Zixin as saying that “I am prepared to live with the pandemic”.
The 25 million people in China’s commercial hub of Shanghai were struggling with Covid-19 infections and strict lockdowns until June 1.
Now that people are gaining confidence to face the reality, returning to the streets again, Shanghai is becoming lively.
Shanghai Disneyland and Beijing's Universal Studios on Sunday saw crowds to attend the winter festive season here, with many queuing up for rides in Christmas-themed outfits, according to the report.
