President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA), Shehbaz Sharif, on Friday, slammed Prime Minister Imran Khan for toppling the IMF in the economic war, Dunya News reported.
According to Sharif, the government claims that the burden won't fall on the poor, yet in reality, the mini-budget will cripple the economy as a whole.
Mini budget tabled by the PTI govt in National Assembly is a declaration of war on the poor & middle class that will be adversely affected by the Tsunami of price hike. This Bill is a proof that Budget 2021-22 was a pack of lies, a fact I have repeatedly mentioned ever since.

Prior to that, the PML-N leader had stated that economic and political stability are integral to national security.
His tweet claimed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) tenure in government has been the worst due to poor economic management and poor governance.
In addition, Shehbaz said that the citizens have never felt this hopeless about the future and warned that it is jeopardizing national security.
