A Texas woman was arrested for setting fire to her boyfriend's home after another woman answered her call to him.
Police arrested 23-year-old Senaida Soto on charges of burglary of a habitation and arson.
Police said the incident triggered after another woman answered his phone when Soto FaceTimed her boyfriend.
Soto became "upset" and in a fit of rage, she set the couch on fire at the house in the city's Far Southwest side early on Sunday morning.
Soto would later text her boyfriend saying, "hope your house is okay", according to the publication People.
But Soto made a big miscalculation of sorts when she set out to destroy the house because the woman who had answered the call turned out to be a relative of Soto's boyfriend, not another woman as she thought.
The owner of the house complained to the police that Soto had broken into the property and set the house on fire alongside stealing "several items from the home".
After they were alerted about the fire in a house, police rushed in at around 1.45 am on Sunday morning.
"While the house was on fire, the video was recorded and it was shown that she lit the couch on fire that spread, causing the home to go up in flames, as well as causing over $50,000 worth of damages," the sheriff's office reportedly wrote on Facebook.
