Tokyo: Alibaba Group founder Jack Ma will get into the shoes of a teacher following an invitation to teach by the University of Tokyo.
Jack Ma will become the visiting professor at Tokyo College which comes under the University of Tokyo, according to Reuters.
The university said that the contract with the well-known Chinese entrepreneur will be renewable on an annual basis; however the appointment term finishes at the end of October.
Jack Ma will give lectures on management and business start-ups alongside giving advice on ‘important research themes’.
Jack Ma has recently returned to China in March after spending overseas more than a year.
The Tokyo College, coming into being in 2019, is envisaged to be an interface between the University of Tokyo and overseas researchers and research institutions.
